Our Ministry Teams
Our Ministry Teams are vital to the growth and service of Spring Hill. These
Ministry Teams carry on the major portion of the work in these areas:
Activities, Benevolence, Building and Grounds, Children and Youth, Christian
Education, Missions, Outreach, Prayer, Recreation, Volunteers,
Seniors, Small Groups, and Worship and Music.

MISSIONS AT SPRING HILL
The Spring Hill Church has always taken a deep interest in taking the Good News
of Jesus Christ to the world. At present, the church supports missions both in
the United States and abroad. Each year the church sponsors a World Outreach
Weekend. Missions speakers and other mission emphases are featured during the
weekend. Missions speakers often come to Spring Hill to acquaint us with the
work of the Lord being done around the world.

TUESDAY SCHOOL
A fully staffed Tuesday School is held during the school year at Spring Hill.
The school held each Tuesday morning is for children of pre-school age and
especially teaches the children how to get along with one another and to
cooperate in a number of recreational activities. One of the principle goals of
the school is to teach Biblical principles to the "little ones" who attend.
"Graduation" in May brings the program to a fitting close. For more information, visit the Tuesday School website at www.tuesdayschool.com.
MEN AND WOMEN AT SPRING
HILL
The Christian Ladies in Action group is a very active part of the Spring Hill church. They meet the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at which time special programs are presented. This group also sponsors prayer breakfasts, a Mother/Daughter Banquet, and other special events. Two of our small group meetings are especially for women, also.
The Men's Ministry meets periodically for devotions, work projects, and fellowship. They also take part in various projects to aid members of the congregation in
yard work, house repair, and car maintenance. The men meet quarterly for a delicious breakfast, guest speaker and prayer time.
The O.W.L.S.
We are thankful to have many experienced adults among our number, for we
realize it is their example and their instruction which have brought the rest
of us to faith in Jesus. Older, Wiser, Loving Seniors (O.W.L.S.) is our group
of members over 50! Meeting monthly, this group shares in various programs and
special trips. In the past couple of years, besides their regular meetings at
6:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month, the O.W.L.S. have enjoyed La Comedia
Dinner Theater, museum trips, a river-boat cruise on the Ohio, Bunco nights,
Nashville, Indiana shopping adventure, and other special activities. Good cooks
provide delicious refreshments at each meeting.

SMALL GROUPS
Many small groups meet at various times during the week. These groups may be
for youth or adults and range from a quilting group to various study groups.
More and more small groups are being added all the time as our people enjoy
being together. Call the church for times and places of meetings. |
